Taiwan: Steel billet imports largely stable, m-o-m, in Sep’22

Taiwan’s steel billet imports stood at 181,308 t in Sep’22, largely stable m-o-m against 185,625 t in Aug’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the largest exporter at 70,867 t, followed by Russia at 55,957 t.
However, cumulative import volumes fell by 18% to 2.69 mnt in Jan-Sep’22 as against 3.30 mnt in the year-ago period.
