South Korea’s flat steel exports rose 12% to 1.93 mnt in Aug’22 compared with 1.72 mnt a month ago. HRC/plates accounted for 36% (697,131 t) of the total exports while the share of galvanised steel and CRC was 37% and 17% respectively. Japan, China, India and the US were the leading importers of flat steel from Korea in the month under review.
