South Korea: Steel billet exports fall over 80%, m-o-m, in Jun’22

South Korea’s steel billet exports fell by a whopping 82.43% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 5,596 t from 31,840 t in May’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the major importer with 5,031 t.
Export volumes declined by 61% y-o-y to 112,820 t in Jan-Jun’22 as against 288,019 t in the same period last year.
