HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh while prices dropped by the same quantum in Raipur, on 18 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 52,700/t ($659/t) exw-Raipur and INR 54,800/t ($685/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
