In a confirmed deal, 6,000t of South African RB2 coal (5500 NAR, high FC) of October stock has been sold INR 4,950/t ex-Gangavaram in post Diwali holidays trade. Few offers are being heard at INR 5,000/t. However, old stock of the RB2 coal is available at INR 4,650-4,750/t (exclusive of cess and GST). On Monday, S.African API4 index settled at $0.92/t lesser than last Friday’s index.
