Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a drop of RMB 10. The billet transactions noted were moderate, and finished steel prices have seen inching up. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,560/t ($542/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
