Raipur (Chhattisgarh) based major mid-scale mill – Real Ispat & Power Ltd (GK TMT) has raised rebar offer by INR 800/t. Fresh offer for 10-25 mm size stands at INR 39,800/t exw. The company has raised rebar offers by around INR 3,000/t on w-o-w basis. Prices rally due to continuous rise in sponge iron prices as well as demand supported by positive trends while logistics remain less active due to festive holidays, sources informed SteelMint. The company has a rolling capacity of approx 0.5 mn t pa.
