Major Pakistani steel mills such as Hadeed Pakistan Private Limited (HP), International Steels Limited (ISL) and Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML) have increased prices steeply by PKR 5,000/t ($27/t) for cold-rolled coil (CRC) and coated flat steel products, effective 1 Apr’22. Prices were increased by PKR 10,000/t ($54/t) in March on higher cost push and elevated global HRC prices.
