India: JSW Steel raises HRC, CRC prices by up to INR 4,000/t ($53/t)

Steel major JSW Steel raised list prices by INR 2,500/t ($33.07/t) for HRC and INR 4,000/t ($52.9/t) for CRC from 1 Apr’22 on elevated raw material costs supported by healthy export bookings, sources informed SteelMint.

• HRC (2.5-8mm, IS2062) stands at INR 79,000-79,500/t ($1,042-1,050/t).
• CRC (0.90mm, IS 513 Gr O) is at INR 86,500-87,000/t ($1,143-1,149/t).
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding 18% GST.
