Long steel demand in Europe continues to remain firm with prices of deformed bars, wire rods and mesh all reaching all-time highs, as per a recent report by IREPAS. Besides, supply shortage is another major issue the European Union market is facing, as the new quota for rebar imports into the region was almost consumed within the first week of the new quota period.
