Indonesian thermal coal prices rise amid rising winter demand

After declining over the last four weeks, Indonesian thermal coal index price has risen by $2-7/t this week as inquires from power utilites in China picked up for winter restocking. Amid tight Indonesian supply, price of high CV 6500 rose by $7/t, while that of 5800 GAR were up by $4/t. Price of 4200 GAR and 3400 GAR also traded higher.
