Vedanta’s Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) conducted an auction for 26,000 t of iron ore lumps from its Nadidih BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha on 7 May’24. As per sources, 6,000 t of CLO (5-18 mm, Fe 60.5%) and 12,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) was booked at the base price of INR 5,350/t and INR 5,300/t, respectively. Prices are ex-mines/plot and inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
