Vendata-owned ESL Ltd. has invited purchase bids for 20,000 t of dolochar at its plant in Bokaro, Jharkhand. Dolochar is basically unburnt coal derived from furnaces producing sponge iron. The supply is during the Jan-Apr’22 period for dolochar with gross calorific value of 2,600 kilo calories/kg. Besides, the ferrous content of the material must be below 5%.
