Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,430/t ($697/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 14 Jan’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,664/t ($734/t), witnessing an increase of RMB 31/t ($5/t), d-o-d.
