India: Sponge iron offers rise slightly in Bellary

Sponge iron, C-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 100/t on 14 Jan’22, while P-DRI prices increased by INR 150/t today.

• Around 3,800 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 31,000-31,500/t against offers at INR 31,500/t exw.
• SteelMint’s assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 32,300/t ($436/t) and around 3,400 t of deals were reported today.
