SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), rose by INR 400/t to INR 28,000/t exw-Raipur. Prices headed north on supply issues. However, trades remained limited as both buyers and suppliers cited sufficient orders.
- 3,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,000-28,200/t on exw and DAP basis during the first half, although later bids fall sharply. Ultimately, no major deals were confirmed.
