India: Mills raise rebar prices by up to INR 1,100/t

IF rebar prices increased sharply today by INR 300-700/t d-o-d across the regions, while the major rise of INR 1,100/t seen in Raigarh(central India), as per SteelMint assessment. Manufacturers observed moderate future bookings and improved trades and transactions in the spot market along with positive sentiments in semi-finished steel prices in the key markets which supported them to increase rebar prices.
