India: Sponge iron offers rise slightly in Bellary, Karnataka

Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%) and iron ore based-DRI (CDRI), prices rose by INR 200/t in Bellary, Karnataka on 22 Jun’22.

• PDRI deals for 1,550 t were confirmed at INR 32,500-32,600/t exw against offers at INR 32,700/t. Also, around 600 t of CDRI deals were reported at INR 32,900-33,200/t. All prices are on exw basis.
• Slight improvement in demand amid few sellers in the market pushed offers higher. Billet offers in Hyderabad increased by INR 500/t d-o-d.
