India: South African RB2 old stock sold at INR 16,900/t at Paradip Port

Amid rising small parcel trades of South African coal, a rake of mid-CV RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) grade was sold at INR 16,900/t at Paradip Port. The quantity booked is an old stock. Prices of fresh stock are heard at INR 17,400/t at the port. Imported coal demand by sponge iron manufacturers continued to remain strong with rising blending with alternate origin.
