Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 40,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 60% indicative) from its Barsua mines in Odisha. According to the latest update, the auction failed to fetch response from buyers and closed at no bid. The base price for the auction was at INR 4,700/t (loaded into rakes, including royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium).
