MOIL conducted an auction for 5,325 t of different grades of high-carbon (HC) ferro manganese (1,750 t), ferro manganese slag (500 t) and manganese ore of dioxide grade (3,075 t) on 24 Aug’22 from its Balaghat plant. Around 1,500 t of HC ferromanganese (70-72%) and 350 t of slag were booked at close to the floor price. The market price of ferro manganese (HC70%) was at around INR 80,500/t ex-Raipur on 24 Aug.
