India: SAIL Rourkela clears 8,000-t crude coal tar at lower realisations after base price correction

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Rourkela auctioned 8,000 t of crude coal tar on 19 Feb’26 at a weighted average price of INR 35,200/t exw, with the full volume sold. The auction, rescheduled from 16 Feb’26 due to a lack of bids at a higher base price, also witnessed an INR 2,350/t decline in bids from the last auction held on 1 Jan’26.
