The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 12,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 63.50%) from its Bolani mines in Odisha on 16 Jun’25. According to sources, the entire volume offered was booked at the base price of INR 5,050/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
