Induction furnace rebar prices increased by INR 200-700/t in most markets, while prices remained stable in west and south India. Active buying before the monsoon has been seen over the past few days, which kept prices supported across regions. In some markets, shortage of a few sizes of rebar was witnessed. Dispatch and delivery from mills are expected to get delayed in markets in central India, SteelMint learnt from sources.
