Pakistani buyers book 70,000 t HRC from Japan and Taiwan

Pakistan-based importers have booked 70,000 t of HRC (SAE 1006) for imports a week back out of which 40,000 t was booked from Japan at around $820-830/t CFR and 30,000 t from Taiwan at $810-820/t CFR. From both countries delivery is scheduled for Jul’22, SteelMint learnt from sources in Pakistan. In May, bulk HRC imports into Pakistan were recorded at 55,571 t.
