India: Melting scrap prices rise on improving steel sentiments

Steel melting scrap prices increased by up to INR 600/t in Mandi Gobindgarh in north India today and by around INR 200-300/t in Gujarat and Raipur on account of improvement in sponge iron and semi-finished steel prices.
