SteelMint’s benchmark pellet sponge (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices increased by INR 200/t to INR 29,700/t exw Raipur on 21 Jul’21. Prices gained on account of supportive demand as well rising billet prices.
About 3,500 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 29,600-29,700/t compared to offers at INR 29,700-29,800/t, exw and FoR Raipur.
Meanwhile, DR CLO grade sponge iron deals were reported at INR 32,200-32,300/t as against offers at INR 32,400-32,600/t exw.
