In a confirmed deal, 5,000 t of South African RB2 (5,500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 8,750/t ex-Ennore, up by INR 400/t w-o-w. Bidding for imported coal from sponge iron manufacturers remained muted at Gangavaram and Vizag ports. RB2 coal price at Haldia port was assessed at INR 10,000/t.
