Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices rose by INR 300/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 84,000/t ($916/t) on 29 Jan’26. Prices increased due to improved acceptance of higher quotes, with deals concluded at elevated levels, supporting a stronger market sentiment. Offers were reported in the INR 83,400-84,100/t ($910-918/t) range, with a deal for around 420 t concluded at INR 84,000/t ($916/t).
