The Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation (JSMDC) will conduct an auction for 15,113 t of coal (G-12 grade, with gross calorific value of 3701-4000) on 22 Oct’21 from its Sikni Coal Mines in Jharkhand’s Latehar district. Sale of coal by road will cover all buyers including consumers and traders. Bihar and Jharkhand are in the grip of power shortage due to coal crunch.
