HR strip (patra) prices sharply rose by INR 700/t ($8/t) in Raipur and by INR 500/t ($6/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh d-o-d today. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 49,600/t ($599/t) exw-Raipur and INR 50,000/t ($604/t) exw-Mandi. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
