Pakistan: Steel mills raise CRCs, coated coil prices by PKR 3,000/t ($13)

Major Pakistani steel mills – International Steel, Aisha Steel Mills and Hadeed Pakistan Pvt Ltd – have increased prices of cold-rolled coils (CRCs) and coated flat steel products by PKR 3,000/t ($13/t), effective 24 Dec’22. The recent increase in global steel and raw material prices along with the appreciation of USD against PKR have pushed mills to raise prices in December, sources informed.
