Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL) has lowered its special high-grade zinc prices by INR 2,100/t ($27/t) to INR 392,500/t ($5,119/t), exw Udaipur. Lead prices were lowered by INR 1,700/t($22/t) to INR 216,900/t ($2,829/t) exw Udaipur.
In a recent interview HZL CEO Arun Misra stated: “Zinc prices are likely to remain strong, while the prices of lead will remain stable due to softening in demand.”
