Iran: Steel consumption falls, y-o-y, in Persian Year ended Mar’22

Iran’s steel consumption decreased significantly in the last Persian Year (21 Mar’21-20 Mar’22), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption decreased by 16% y-o-y.
• Flat steel consumption fell by 7%, while long steel consumption fell by 11% y-o-y.
