- Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) has increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 3,500/t ($46/t) d-o-d today. The effective price stands at INR 309,250/t ($4,056/t).
- The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME was $3,504.5/t on 22 Mar’22 as against $3,521/t the previous day.
- Hindalco has a production capacity of 1.2 mnt per annum and accounts for 34% of the domestic market share.
