China: Steel inventory at CISA-affiliated mills continues to rise in mid-March

The steel inventory at key iron and steel enterprises in mid-Mar’22 was recorded at 17.12 mnt, an increase of 442,900 t or 2.66% month-on-month, data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) reveals. In the first 10 days of March, steel inventory increased by 221,400 t and, compared with the beginning of the year, inventory increased 5.82 mnt, up 51.59%.
