India: ESL hikes long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for Oct’24

ESL Steel Ltd. has raised long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for Oct’24, sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices are as follows:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 53,000/t ($631/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 58,000/t ($691/t)

Prices are landed NCR, excluding GST at 18%.
