India: JSP raises long steel prices by up to INR 2,000/t ($24/t) for Oct’24

Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) has raised prices of long steel products by up to INR 2,000/t ($24/t) for Oct’24, sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, effective prices are as follows:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 52,500/t ($625/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 58,500-59,000/t ($697-703/t)

Prices are on landed Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%.
