India: Over 45,000 t of iron ore booked at NMDC’s auction from Donimalai

NMDC’s latest auction on 3 Oct’24 witnessed 48,000 t of iron ore being booked from the Donimalai mines, Karnataka.

• 36,000 t fines (Fe 59%) were booked at INR 3,708/t against the base price of INR 3,698/t.
• 12,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59%) were booked at INR 4,628/t against the base price of INR 4,268/t.

Bid prices of lumps were higher by INR 360/t. Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
