Steel Authority of India (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 6,000 t steel grade pig iron today from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), Chhattisgarh. The auction received good participation as the entire material got booked at INR 26,600-27,100/t exw. The last auction conducted on 23 Sep’20 for 3,000 t was concluded at INR 27,250-27,400/t exw.
