India: Bids increase by INR 250/t in SAIL’s pig iron auction

SAIL conducted an auction for 6,000 t prime steel grade pig iron today from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), Chhattisgarh. The auction received active participation with entire material getting booked at INR 26,950-27,200/t exw. The last auction conducted on 01 Oct’20 for a similar quantity was concluded around at INR 26,600-27,100/t.
