Indian steel major – ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel (AM/NS) has increased HRC price by INR 2,000 ($27) and CRCA prices by INR 1,500/t ($21) effective from today. The revised price of HRC stands at around INR 43,250/t and CRC at INR 51,000 (ex-Mum), SteelMint learned from its trade channels.Improved demand and tight supply in the domestic market have pushed prices up. AM/NS India has a steel capacity of around 8.5 mn t pa.
