Balco and Hindalco have raised aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by up to INR 7,000/t ($86/t) against 01 Oct’22. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 216,500/t ($2,653/t), increased by INR 6,750/t ($83/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 211,750/t ($2,594/t), increased by INR 7,000/t ($86/t) exw, excluding GST. The hikes are due to the parallel improvement in LME’s future and the spot trend.
