China: Steel imports fall by 33% m-o-m in Oct’20

China steel imports in Oct’20 dropped to 1.93 mn t from 2.88 mn t in Sep’20, witnessing an m-o-m drop of 33%. However, the same saw a rise of 89%, when compared with the same period (October) last year. The fall in imports was lead by countries like India, who have curbed the export allocations on improving domestic realizations.
