China's hot rolled coil export market continued to firm up as major Chinese mills were encouraged by the rise in domestic prices.
Current offers for commercial-grade, boron-containing HRC is in the range of $510-520/MT FOB Shanghai for September shipment, which is nearly $15-20/MT higher than the previous prices. However, most buyers have been reluctant to accept the price increase and transactions were sparse said, an exporter based in Shanghai.
On the other side Indian HRC price is in the range of Rs 34000-35000/MT (Ex-works). Prices have increased by Rs 750-1000/MT in various places across the country with announcement of prices by primary producers for the month of July'13.
