Australian premium hard coking coal prices moved up by $25/t to $475/t FOB, while Australian low-volatile PCI coal prices rose by $20/t d-o-d to $430/t FOB. Prices are rising because of the increase in spot trades as EU sanctions on Russian coal imports have led to increased demand for Australian coal.
