Australian coking coal prices drop by $4.5/t d-o-d amid subdued demand

Australian coking coal prices (FOB Australia) dropped by $4.5/t to $237/t on 16 May, 2024. This drop can be attributed to subdued demand from Asia. Most of the Chinese buyers have reduced bids on falling domestic coking coal prices and traders are aggressive in selling June loading cargoes pulling down the prices.
