Australian premium hard coking coal prices rose by $10/t d-o-d to $254/t FOB as on 16 Aug’22. Coking coal prices have been on an uptrend since a week amid robust buying interest especially from traders. While some end users are heard to have moved to the sidelines in order to digest the recent rise in prices, a major Indian mill is heard to be in the market for signing of its long-term contract, which is also supporting Australian prices, as per participants.
