Pig Iron (steel and foundry grade) prices have been stable across the country during this week due to decent buying activities.
Industry experts from some of the major Pig Iron manufacturing plants are positive about sales in the current month.
Manufacturers are able to sell around 400 to 1,000 tons of material every week and 12,000 to 24,000 tons on a monthly basis.
Also, few of the plants that have closed sales for sometime now are expected to re-start production by month end.
