Wire rod manufacturers in Raipur market kept on increasing prices for the last couple of days and prices today are up by INR 500/t to INR 53,500/t exw. However, on higher prices trade enquiries and transactions remained weak in the spot market. Traders booked the material on lowered prices and to liquidate that material they offered a high attractive trade discount of INR 1,500/t.
